I think time will tell. If Liverpool kick on now and continue like this then it'll prove to have been a big statement. But, go back to dropping points regularly and I'd say it was a great result, but that's it.

Ultimately, despite the score, you still only get 3 points. City went 2-0 down and I was sure they'd come back. They're ruthlessly efficient. I'm not trying to be negative for the sake of whinging. But I just see City as the best in the league by far.

Conceding 3 v Newcastle and 2 v Palace shows that not even City are bullet proof.
Long way to go this season and both LFC and City have shown they can go on long winning runs.
League could have a familiar look in 10 games from now.

City were lucky Haaland should have seen red and Palace defending was absolutely shocking. They are nothing special, I would definitely not bet on them winning the champs league this season that’s for sure. I do hope Bernardo Silva leaves them though would help us immensely. There team is weaker than ever before so all hope may not be lost.

I’m happy enough with our result yesterday don’t you worry, but mane got a red for kicking Ederson unintentionally in the head, not sure I understand the difference with what Harland did yesterday. These things all add up over the course of a season!
