Ed.
Do you see Klopp changing his mind about leaving on the end of his current contract.
With the new training ground (2nd question on that) and the expansion of Anfield along with the squad he has built with the youthful prospects coming through could they be enough for him to stay for longer do you think?

On the training ground, how much of a input did JK have in it? Did he have specifics in place?

Hope all is good. Keep up the champion work

Gazza.

{Ed001's Note - I would be surprised because I would expect him to want to have a break. People like Klopp are so heavily involved, they have little real rest while doing the job and it wears them down. You never know though, we can hope!

He and his staff had a huge input into it. It is based very much on what they wanted.}

Cheers
I know it’s been said on here about possible replacements and discussions have gone on. I just can’t see anyone who is going to come in and be as impactful as what Klopp has been for us.
I genuinely think it’s going to be next person in will not get out of his shadow and we will struggle. I’d love it if Pep Lijnders was the next Paisley following shankley and carried on the legacy. That guy knows everything inside out.
As said let’s hope we get another contract from Klopp.

Think he might renew.

It’s a once in a lifetime job and whilst it’s tiring he will miss it terribly once it’s over I think.

Think his wife will have a big say on what will happen.

{Ed001's Note - that is the key, it won't be down to Klopp, his boss will decide!}

If it were me, I'd give him 6 months off and get him back afterwards with full pay.

I was looking at the video of his first ever press conference for LFC. That was exactly 6 years ago (less one week) . He looks like he's aged 10-15 years in that time, if you look at him now. It's a full time, high stress, full commitment job. I'd understand if he left. First a long holiday. And then à cushier job of national team manager. You live only once. And football is only a game.

Offer him a season long sabbatical, Linders take over for a year. Then come back the following season. 😂
It doesn’t feel like the end for Jurgan, the C.V. stole a year or two, I think he will extend his deal another 2 years because of that IMO.

Im hoping the youth players coming through will tempt him into being the one to guide them to their full potential.

Even another year or two on top of his deal would be very beneficial to setting future foundations.

Legend whatever he does. Dreading the day seeing him on the pitch with hand over heart and tears in the eyes.

Despite his moans and complaints here and there he's such a great manager to listen to when it comes to football and life.

I say enjoy the ride whilst he is here. We are lucky to have the best manager in the world right now
Up the pool.

I don’t think it’s feasible or rational to predict the thoughts and emotions of a man none of us are properly acquainted with, all several years in advance. None of us know how we’re going to feel from one day to the next and both football and real life are wildly unpredictable. I fully believe him when he says that he doesn’t really know what will happen because how would anybody?! The only person who will know is Klopp. When the time comes he will know in his heart and gut what the right thing to do is. I honestly think it will probably be him leaving as the job will have run him into the ground and he seems to be someone who understands that there is far more to life than football, something he has voiced publicly. I think he misses quality family time and honestly just time for himself. I’m not fussed anyway because only he knows what the right decision is and if his hearts not in it anymore in three years time then what's the point. As long as we give Pep Lijinders a shot at succession then it isn’t something i’m afraid of.

I thank my lucky stars that I'm old enough, to be alive when Liverpools 4 greatest club managers imo we're at the helm. Shankley, Paisley, Dalglish and Klopp. (perhaps not quite wise enough at the time) . It strikes, the impossible job, in what order do they go?

I can't see Klopp taking a sabbatical. Just sont see how that fits his personality. Would he have any drive to come back and pick up someone else's work? Doubt it. When he goes he would have earned a long break.

I think Stevie will be ready by then and should be in the running.

{Ed0666's Note - Or Mr Alonso?

The same Mr. Alonso who hasn't managed a senior side yet?

Think I'd go Stevie first, personally.

I think he should leave, for his own wellbeing. I love the man and what he's done for Liverpool but all good things come to an end, it doesn't mean we'll suddenly be down and out. He should chill out for a couple of years and enjoy himself a bit. I think it'll all go on the success he brings whilst he's here, if he feels he can't improve us much more I reckon he'll walk and if he does good luck to him, he deserves time off.

Interesting shout Ed0666, if Alonso reaches the same levels in management as a player he’d be a brilliant choice and he seems to have a strong a affection for both the club and the city.

Given it’s still 3 years away it will be interesting to watch developments.

At this stage JK seems fairly sure of his plans ….

{Ed0666's Note - Him and Ljinders would be my choices mate. Seems like a dream team combo to me but I’m being premature again which my wife will vouch for also.

Shivers ed, people are falling over themselves about stevie not being ready. In comparison, if Xavi was in the running then I'd be expecting a nuclear apocalypse lol.

{Ed0666's Note - I’m not sure many people would complain if Alonso was given the job if he was successful in previous jobs. And by the way the fella speaks excellent English which is a plus.

He looks 20 years younger since he took over. Well his teeth do anyway.
