Hi Eds/ reds.
Some months ago Ed002 said that there was a proposal that if the league be cancelled after 50% of games, the team top would win / PPG would be applied.
I have tried searching, both this site and the wider Web and cannot find what final decision was taken.

Ed002, or anyone else, do we know what happens if they cancel the season, both before and after 50% of games are played?

{Ed002's Note - That proposal remains on the table but clubs do not want to vote on it or indeed discuss it further as they want the season finished.}

Rumour mill going into overdrive that the league is discussing a 2 week break to stop the increase in positive tests.

Explains why I couldn't find the answer then, cheers Ed.

Seems fairly short sighted to me, they're talking about a 2 week break now, I think if they do have that, it's likely to end up being far longer than 2 weeks.

Ed002 seen something online about a two week cooling off period, do you think its likely?

It make sense cases have definitely increased within teams and their safety has to come first. They did so well in the resumption of last season but it seems teams are now starting to struggle.

Also what's the likelihood of the lower leagues being postponed as they seem to be hit hard with it.

{Ed002's Note - There will be another lockdown I am sure. The impact will become clearer later in the season as preparations are made for the Euros - the lower divisions want crowds and to finish their seasons to help survive.}

Still think they should have cancelled the euros really given how bad this is across most of Europe.

I think the powers that be will have to choose between club football and international football I don’t see we can have both?

Acered, you cannot have international football without club football. Where would the players train, get match fit, work day to day?

Crazy rescheduling the Euros as it meant all the league competitions got compressed into a shorter space of time. League football is the lifeblood of the sport, UEFA have just been really dumb here.

Never have, never will be bothered about international footy. If I had to choose between England winning the world cup and Liverpool winning the fairly pointless league cup, it's a no brainer. I'd rather watch a Trump press conference than Harry Kane lift a trophy.

Ghostgoal I mean this season whilst there is a C.V.
