Ed2 if I may, if I remember correctly (please correct if I'm wrong) that you weren't sure that Moura would be a good buy for Spurs before they signed him. I hadn't watched much footage of him before he signed, and didn't expect much of him based on your opinion.

Has he changed your opinion this season? I think he's worked out alright, might of made a good squad player for us. Again, apologies if I've made that up, it just stuck in my mind because you don't often get involved in rating players, cheers anyway.

{Ed002's Note - I have had no thoughts about him at all this season.}

He’s bang average mate. Ask any spurs fan. He can appear good if you don’t follow him closely and just watch motd highlights.

For what it's worth he scared the c£&p out of me when we played them and he had another great game this weekend, hopefully he has another couple of good games this week.

I hope Lucas Moura has the best game of his career on Saturday against City.

I think he’s alright, he seems to be working hard, and for his size he seems strong, was holding our defenders off well in the recent game. His finishing is more power over precision, and can go wrong, but I think he’s been decent for spurs.

Better than being just a brazilian walcott as a lot said when he first moved there. he's not too old to find a focus in matches and improve and affect games.

Then you have players like Eriksen who can pick a sensational pass fairly often but goesb missing far too often and most of the time might as well not be on the pitch when they don't have the ball. But he gets a wholelot of loving.

Can't trash spurs without mentioning the big lump wanyama who scored a good goal vs huddersfield and a scorcher vs us last season to make up his career highlights. Also Dier, Ben Davies and Trippier just decent players, not really thay extra needed quality for a team that wants to win trophies. I think Poch has done a decent job to have so many average players in 3rd place. I would pay good money to sign Son though.

I know this is a very bizarre post I just got carried away due to my dislike of spurs, my older brother being the most insufferable spurs and indeed football fan ever.

A couple of years ago Spurs had a fantastic squad with Lloris, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Kane, Dembele, Dele, Son etc. but they have failed to add the extra 2-3 players to really take it to the next level. I fear for them now if someone like Kane leaves and given their back 4 is not what it was.

{Ed0333's Note - I could have sworn this was the Liverpool page mate? Let’s keep this space free to eulogize about our heroes.

I like son but would take erikson if i had the choice. Sorry ed033.

{Ed001's Note - why Eriksen? Good player when given time and space, but is terrible when put under pressure. He is one of the most Spursy players they have. Son, on the other hand, is a great player.}

Fair point Ed 😂. it’s quite noticeable how we’ve blown past them in the last couple of seasons though, particularly how we’ve reshaped our back 5 to be the best in the league now IMO.

{Ed0333's Note - I was just being facetious mate feel free to talk about anything you want. But dismembering male escorts is off limits as it’s a touchy subject for Ed’s 001.
