Greetings ed's and reds, im a first time poster but a life long fan. i do feel we have the money and room for improvement and don't need a direct replacement for pipco,

just wondering with nabby keita situation how does recalling a player on loan work or have we agreed to finalise the deal at the end of the season, surely if we own him outright and he is loaned back its upto LFC to if they want to recall him?

{Ed001's Note - Keita is not on loan.}

Theses stories bout Liverpool trying to cut Keita loan move short are rubbish, these journos can't even get the facts right as ed02 said Keita is not on loan, he will join lfc on July 1st, when the transfer window opens and we can register players,

Thanks ed001 i should have done some homework before posting!

love the site by the way been a regular reader for years KEEP UP THE GOOD WORKS. Y. N. W. A.

{Ed001's Note - no worries mate. Keita would like to move the move forward to this window, but RBL are not so keen. Shame as he would be a great addition.}

Not so keen ed01, or definitely will not happen,? Could paying a premium get the deal done or is money not the concern,

{Ed002's Note - Read the posts - done to death.}

Id rather Keita stay in Germany and finish the season. Light up the champions league as much as possible. Then no one can squiggle about the fee we paid.

{Ed0333's Note - I disagree Fatboy why would you want a game changer like Keita not at the club asap? If there’s any chance he could arrive before the summer I’d like to pursue that option. He really is a cut above. Our midfield needs a shot in the arm and Keita will provide that.

If I'm not wrong aren't rbl out of the champions league, ? So not much lightening up to do there.

{Ed002's Note - They are in the Europa League and trying to qualify again.}

With our apparent desperation to replace couts evident rbl could ask for any amount from us to let him go early. Surely paying x amount extra on top of the 50 odd is too much regardless if we are slightly flush right now.

This is the problem with our transfer policy. We pay what Ed002 said was way more than any other club for keita, and now people want to pay more just to get him to come sooner. It's the same problem with VVD. We fall in love with instead of identifying a skill set and finding multiple players who have that skill set. We have spent how much on gigi and ox and we still NEED keita. We really need to sort ourselves out in the market and learn from other clubs.
