Hi eds, just a quick question, I don't usually listen to gossip or rumours, anymore, but heard a report on merseyside radio that real had made contact with Liverpool over Salah, more rubbish or anything in it, cheers.

{Ed002's Note - I have explained this over and over - Salah had his representatives contact RM.}

1.) 20 Mar 2018 22:04:00
I think Ed2 mentioned this months ago lol or it certainly seems that long ago, old news.

2.) 20 Mar 2018 22:47:53
I understand that ed, I guess I was asking is reals interest that strong that they've contacted Liverpool over a possible move, cheers for the reply,

{Ed002's Note - over and over again. Read the posts.}

3.) 20 Mar 2018 21:54:44
Do you expect him to leave in the Summer ed?

{Ed002's Note - no}

4.) 21 Mar 2018 07:36:38
Ive been reading this page for what seems like a decade, back when Macca was a regular poster. Questions and replies like the ones above just seem to scream out journalist. don't know why you bother authorising the post.

5.) 21 Mar 2018 07:59:43
Chaps. I think we should just enjoy the wonderful football we are watching from Salah. I don’t think he’ll leave in the Summer but, if we’re not challenging for the PL and CL in the future and his form continues he’ll want to leave.

Only clubs like Man United can keep their top players without challenging, prime example De Gea. One of the best keepers in the world playing for poor United teams since Ferguson left. Difference is, they are paying him a fortune.

6.) 21 Mar 2018 09:58:35
For the top class players to stay let's face it you've got to be winning things consistently and not nearly every year 😉.

7.) 21 Mar 2018 13:42:15
De Gea would go if he had chance, but I think he has wanted away for a few seasons.

8.) 21 Mar 2018 14:29:47
Glad to hear he isn’t expected to leave next season!

Hi eds, just seen a few reports Liverpool have sent representatives to talk to benfica about a possible deal for William carvalho, I find this hard to believe myself, just wondering if there's any truth to this, thanks

{Ed002's Note - William Carvalho has been looked at by Liverpool so there is the chance that something can be done.}

1.) 24 Jan 2017 12:24:08
Are they asking benfica what they think of him port red, because I thought he played for sporting😂😂😂

Hi eds/ reds, a question for ed02 if your about? We were discussing the fact that the current New balance kit deal expires next summer and who we'd like the club to supply the next kit. A question arose, would Adidas or Nike for example have any clauses in their current deals stopping them for entering into a deal with Liverpool. Eg Adidas are with utd is there anything stopping them doing a deal with us, thanks.

{Ed002's Note - No, they wouldn’t, buy the kit deal does not run out next summer.}

1.) 01 Aug 2018 22:30:08
Ah ok, seen some reports in the media saying it was up then, thanks for the reply.

2.) 01 Aug 2018 23:29:41
Got a vague recollection that Ed002 said that the current kit deal had a few years yet to run.

3.) 02 Aug 2018 07:57:10
We seem to have missed out a little with the kit deal with warrior/ New Balance, it was great value when signed but it was for something daft like 7 years? And in that time the value of all things premier league has shot up in value and I believe we could get a lot more if we went out to tender this season.

Hi ed, reds, can anyone settle an argument, I've 2 mates, one is saying sturridge can be added to our cl final day squad as he's played in the competition already and his loan will be over and the window open, the other is saying he can't be added to the squad, any help on this would be appreciated😁.

{Ed001's Note - the squad list can not be altered from the one given out after the January window closed.}

11 Apr 2018 20:52:36
Hi eds, just a quick question, will reaching the latter stages of the cl, and the financial rewards it brings change any of our targets for the summer, thanks.

{Ed002's Note - No.}

14 Mar 2018 21:33:23
Evening eds, and reds, a question for ed02 if your about, I've been having a discussion with a friend about emre can and his contract coming to an end, when I mentioned he can only negotiate with teams outside the pl he said I was wrong, I then looked up the Bowman ruling and it doesn't say any where about only being able to sign pre Contract with foreign clubs. Is this a rule brought in by uefa or the different governing bodies in each country, thanks,

{Ed002's Note - Until May - from January - he can talk to any side directly other than English and Welsh sides, so Juventus, Greenock Morton, PSG or whoever can strike a pre-contract deal after May he can talk to English and Welsh sides as well, so Manchester City and Newport County can reach agreement a month ahead of his contract running out.}

1.) 14 Mar 2018 22:54:25
Thanks for the reply ed02, appreciate it,

{Ed002's Note - You are welsome.}

2.) 15 Mar 2018 07:22:45
He won’t be going to Newport Ed.
He wants trophies and European football so no doubt he will be signing for TNS.

3.) 15 Mar 2018 08:47:30
Did you really said that Agger?

28 Jan 2018 15:38:42
Hi eds, reds, any official word on how long lalanna is out for? I seen some reports saying he's out for six weeks while klopp said it was a minor muscle tear, thanks.

{Ed001's Note - Liverpool say he should only be out a week or so.}

1.) 28 Jan 2018 15:44:52
Thanks ed01, let's hope that's true,

But they can't play every game Adam, and bobby looked a bit sluggish the he last 2 games, not saying he shouldn't start and with all due respect to Brighton, it might be a game to concider it,

I thought markovic could leave for free this summer if a deal wasn't agreed last January, but I'm seeing reports of loans and possible sale. Or am I mistaken?

Why is it if a journo says Klopp said something, ie such a person is to be no.1, it's taken as gospel, and used as a stick to beat him, but yet if a journo says were interested in a player we're told not to believe anything they say as it's mostly guesswork, the truth is no one here works for lfc and has any idea what Klopp told any players.

I see the express has said we've submitted a bid for allison, I take this is not true ed? Seeing ward not in the squad a lot are putting 2+2 together and probably getting 10.

{Ed002's Note - It would be a lot for a number 3 goalkeeper behind joint number 1s Ward and Karius. Obvious joint number 3 or number 4 if Mignolet stays.}

He regained consciousness the day before the cl final, but his family wanted it kept quiet, they said his recovery is very very slow and will continue to be so. Reading between the lines he's still not in a go way, but hopefully he'll continue to get there and get some sort of life back,

Salah fair points and I wasn't saying he's world class, and he may have crumbled under pressure against us but he didn't roll the ball off one of our players into his own net, nor let a harmless shot through his hands, both occasions being under no pressure from opposing players, as I said the gk position is haunting us, I'm not judging karius on one game, his positioning in some games was atrocious. For Utd second goal at OT for example, I'm just gobsmacked how so many fans are so accepting of average players who are costing us final after final,

No point settling for second best? That's exactly what we've been doing for the last 5/ 6 years with theses bang average keepers, surely there are more than just Allison or oblak out there at mental money, city picked up ederson who wasn't talked about and didn't cost 80m, this is what scouts get paid for, find a good keeper who's not 80m,
