I had a feeling he's score tonight! Looked good on the ball, little casual at time mind! Still not convinced about him defensively, but he wanted that header, rose early and highest!

great debut from vvd but now he's got to do the same at man city. tough 2 opening games to start his lfc journey and he passed tonight with flying colours. definatly a future captain imo.
