I would suspect the only chance to sign a player in Jan if a main summer target becomes available by considering a move to a rival. Other than that nothing happening this window, unless Mbappe wants to sign a pre contract for next season which I doubt he is either off to Real or staying at PSG.

Cheers folks! Doesn’t seem that any of our targets will become available in January. I don’t acctually agree that we need to sign anyone Mark. I would have liked some reinforcements at LB but unless we plan to sell Tsimi in the summer it probably wouldn’t make much sense.

All i’m saying is, take salah’s wage and double it over 5 years, that’s 180million. Combined cost of fee and wages for a replacement of his calibre would cost well over that. Just make the french lad’s mum happy and get it done… come on.

I don’t think we will sign any one and, in all honesty, the squad depth is good enough now. We can always improve but there isn't a pressing need for anyone, and I like that the bshsnce of the current squad gives game time to our younger players.
