Hi Ed's and reds,

I just read on the Man City page that apparently Liverpool have interest in Kalvin Phillips, is this true? And would he be a first choice target? Would City be looking for a decent fee as he cost them around £50m?

It seems a strange one to me as from what I hear he hasn't shown the best attitude since trying to step up, being overweight, not pushing himself in training, etc.

{Ed025's Note - i could not think of a worse signing 97, awful player with a bad attitude and one to avoid imo mate..

This was what Ed002 wrote about Phillips. I hope we don't sign him though. Definitely not a player that you would usually associate with hard work.

Another £50m signing that's been discarded after a season from Pep. No doubt he'll just go buy another one! Must be such a great position to be in!

Klopp likes him so it wouldn't surprise me. However despite having never seen Kone/ Thuram play i'm still 99% sure they're better signings. For a start they aren't overweight (by pro athlete standards - not looking to give anyone here an eating disorder! )

West Ham always go for the free transfers or cut price deals. it is the way David Sullivan likes to do business I suspect.

Surprising they have not signed any of our players we have let go.
