Hello all,

I mentioned a few weeks back about Benteke meeting Pardew in Brussels Airport. DM reporting he has agreed terms with Palace. Fee to be agreed yet.

Won't this be a case of a club tapping up a player before the clubs can agree a fee for the player? or is it that Palace have asked permission from Liverpool to talk to Benteke before agreeing a fee?

I'd be happy for clubs to tap up players that we never should have bought in the first place so that we can get them off our bloody payroll!

If we're desperately trying to sell Benteke, then why are we complaining when potential buyer goes beyond legal boundaries to convince Benteke to leave?!
