I was thinking it's about make or break for him for Brazil, hopefully he will help push a move, although I'm pretty sure one the eds said that may not affect the owner.

{Ed002's Note - It will make zero difference with the owner.}

A complete waste of money if we get Teixeira. No premiership experience and not what we need right now!

Liverpool should look abroad more, look at the players we buy with "prem exp" Benteke, mignolet, lovren, Allen, milner. Seems to be flop after flop, I'm not saying all foriegn talent are going to start playing like Messi, but surely big money move for a striker who's record is 24 in 27 or something like that is worth more than a 10 million Shane long who makes no money back in the future. It doesn't make business sense to keep spending so poorly and frankly it's worrying. So Mcred with all do respect I couldn't disagree with you more. Try counting how many good prem players didn't make the grade at Liverpool just in the last 7/ 8 years I can think of 20 and over 200 million in wasted transfer fees, let alone wages.

Too many foreign players are killing our game at the moment and is why the quality of the premiership has gone downhill! I agree we have no doubt wasted money on premiership proven players in the past. Teixeira is attracted to the lucrative wages in the premiership, and the owner is also wanting a share of that cake! The sooner we get more players in of the same mold as John Flanagan, the better, and that's not just for Liverpool! Keep the money for another day, there is no one worth buying at the moment!

He is a good player, goal scorer, has lots of pace and is very skilful. Reckon he'll end up at Chelsea though.

You wanna buy players with prem experience. Firstly United and Everton will not sell to us. Arsenal, city and spurs players, if being regularly picked will not leave for Liverpool, as they are in a better position than us, and as good a chance of winning silverware. Take out these teams, how many players with prem experience are good enough. Maybe Leicester have a few, Kante Mahrez for example, but would they leave in January, I doubt it. I'm not even sure who is left that would make a good improvement on our squad, I can think of maybe mane, ighalo?

Sorry McRed, but that's utter nonsense from start to finish.
It's not 'foreign' players that have lowered the quality of the league, that's ridiculous. Of the top 50 performing players this season, how many are English? 9. Of the top 100? 18.
Don't tell me you don't enjoy having players like Ozil, Sanchez, Aguero, Mahrez, Payet etc? They make the league better!

As for your assumption about Teixeira, he actually wants to play in the Prem so he can get into the Seleção, preferably in time for the Copa America in June. Also, I wouldn't say his family would be too upset to leave Ukraine at the moment.
As for Akhmetov, he's worth 6.3 billion. So I'd say he's more motivated by keeping his star player to help reclaim the national championship from their arch rivals in Kiev than any lump of pocket change, although he may indeed enjoy cake.
I doubt you know much about Teixeira as a player, so maybe just trust Klopp eh?
Ok, there's one thing I agree with you on, we all dream of a team of Flanagans. ;)

Hasn't it also been said that Teixeira is looking for £45k a week? Considering the wages we've given james Milner among others that looks like a bargain! The problem wit buying prem players is the ridiculous prices we pay, 25m for lallana at the age of 26-27, 20m for Lovren 32m for benteke! I'm not even sure any of them would make our strongest XI. Klopps transfer record is probably his biggest strength, I'm happy to see where he takes us.

Saurez had no prem expeariance, best buy this club has every made on the talent front.
However the comment on trying too push the move thorugh, as per Saurez do we really want another player who pushes a move through, as in 2-3 years he will be trying to push a move through away from us.
