Ed's I see Carvalho is returning to us, do you see him going back out on loan or could he feature in the first teams plans?

Shame as I definitely think he has the potential to do well. Maybe not the very top level but could do a job if he applied himself. Not happening here though as he seems to have burnt bridges with Klopp.

Morning Ed001. Is Carvalho’s attitude something which has developed since his time at Liverpool or was it there before and they hope to change it when they signed him, do you know?

{Ed001's Note - from what I can gather it is since signing. They do background checks to look for stuff like that and didn't notice any issues prior to signing him. He needs to stay off social media and put in more work on the training pitches. Trent was always having to be dragged off as he would stay behind practising free kicks etc. Carvalho needs to do that too, just put in that bit more and he will get more back out.}

As soon as I saw Carvalho post some smelly stuff about him "just being a model" on social media when he went multiple games w/ o being picked last season, I knew his attitude was questionable and things may not work out for him. It's gotten way worse since then and frankly, I see no way for him here anymore.

I think the fact he gave a rather abrupt interview after signing for Leipzig about not speaking to the coaches and just learning himself says all we need to know about what his issue is. Another example of a player getting to much to young and blowing a brilliant opportunity.

I think a reset with a Championship club rather than a premier league club is just what he needs. He needs to play.

I don't think he fits into our squad/ system but I do think there's a future premier league starter there.

Not sure what level yet but with the right coach, I can see him make it.

Disappointing to hear he doesn't put the hard yards in training and extra training but I always thought he worked hard on the pitch on game day at least.

Interesting Ed1. Personally I know nothing about the kid. You used to be able to get an insight into a player's mindset via their social media but it is so sanitised by PR teams now. Are you saying that there is maybe an issue with the player's mentality?

{Ed001's Note - his social media is not sanitised and he gave interviews after moving to Germany for the loan which did not impress.}

Sorry I was talking about Luke Chambers Ed1. Yeah, I can see the issue with Carvalho. Furthermore I don't think we need a player of his style right now and is several years away from being ready if he ever will be.

{Ed001's Note - oh Chambers is just not ready yet. He would probably have benefitted from the kind of loan Carvalho got.}
