We have a lovely new stand.

And still nowhere near big enough for fans to get tickets.

Doesn’t help that 40% of the uplift is going to be corporate tickets.

There's plenty of work to be done on the extension yet. And the pitch has gone brown too.
There's daily footage of the work being done on YouTube at the moment, fascinating stuff to see just how much is going on. How they keep it all coordinated is beyond me.

I mean no stadium that would make financial sense to build would likely ever have enough seats for the demand. That’s just an issue we will always have to live with.

As for the corporate seats - unfortunately that’s just the way of the world.

FSG will always get stick, rightly or wrongly, for whatever they do but I don’t think any arguement can be had in the way they have redeveloped Anfield. Both redeveloped stands look fantastic.

On the ticket front it’s almost impossible or unaffordable. Looked at hospitality for Brentford or Forest this season and they start at £426 a ticket. Obscene money.

Spot on, Waqqas. FSG will never catch a break regardless of what they do or don’t do so It is what it is.

As for ticket availability and prices, Ticket prices is a huge problem all over the PL, same with how much these jersey tops cost every season and the consistent increases on both fronts. Football has long become a sport for the more comfortable in society at this point. Sad.

Hospitality is a joke. I use a tout now if can't get a ticket and is much cheaper but still expensive. £140 quid for Bournemouth game.

{Ed025's Note - its scandalous marty..

Infrastructure doesn’t come under FFP to be fair, i think they could have paid for it themselves and we could have put the money into a team that badly needed it. We neglected on the field issues to increase the value of the club for when they look to sell it without it costing them anything.

OneKiss, we were very successful WHILE the infrastructure was being built so the idea that we neglected the on pitch stuff for the off pitch stuff is not true by any streatch so the revisional history in a bid to give the owners stick, needs to take a year off.

As for them being able to pay things off themselves, who says that the funds would automatically have gone to the squad in terms of transfers? You do know that transfers are not the be all and end all and that those funds could have gone to say, raising the wage bill of the squad perhaps or strengthening the medical team or the scouting team etc.

Even Klopp said to Peter Crouch that the biggest diif. btw BVB and LFC was that he could keep his best players unlike at BVB. You cannot just make such binary assertions on a nuanced topic like this, IMO.
