Hello Eds, hope your are having a good time during the holidays
It seems midfield will be the area that gets the most attention this summer. Personally I don't think Bellingham will be joining, even if he is we will still need at least 1-2 new players
Just wanted to ask you what do you think of Ruben Neves as a player and would he be a good addition to the squad? I do rate him, but don't know much about tactics etc
And would Neves and Milinkovic-Savic/ MacAllister (don't think this one is likely) be enough to bring our MF up to par with other big clubs

{Ed001's Note - depends on how we are going to play. If we want to continue with this possession obsession, then Neves would be a useful signing. He is not the right type for a high-press, high-intensity game though. Milinkovic-Savic would not fit, he is at his best as an attacking midfielder, we would have to change to play with one.}

I bloody hope we just go back to the high press. Ed01, who do you think would be the ideal/ realistic midfielders to come in help bring that back? I feel the forwards are still capable of carrying it out, and the defense is still good enough to squeeze up. But for a Midfield trio- who are your preferred targets? Not asking for a accurate prediction because there's too many variables and if it were that easy we could all make a lot of money off SKy bet Transfer Specials- but curious to know your preferred choices as you are an advocat of the high press (as am i)

{Ed001's Note - clearly Bellingham would be my first choice, but I would also be happy with someone like Kone from BMG or similar. Rabiot would be a decent cheap signing too I think.}

Kone probably going to Chelsea. Khepren Thuram Ed1? Haven't seen much of him, but seem there is interest from us. If his mum is not involves, Rabiot would be good signing i would think. Imagine his mum and Klopp going at it, that would be some scene wouldn't it.

I think klopp will sign players most of us reds have no knowledge of i think Bellingham and macalister and others are a smoke screen.
