Been using this site as soon as I started following Liverpool. Its been a more than a decade long journey. And I have loved almost every moment of it. Thanks to all those posters and eds. I have been wanting to move to Finland for my further education- I was hoping if I could get started to coaching too. I have been involved with my country's (Nepal) division A club in certain level. Though I have no license of any sorts. How can I get my coaching journey started in Finland? And how much time do I need to dedicate? And how much would it cost? Or do you suggest some other country?

My understanding is that any countries within UEFA are all taught the same things or follow the same ‘modules’. The UEFA coaching license is seen as the best in the world and there is a high demand for coaches with these licenses in other football federations mainly the Middle East and Asia.

I’m not sure on pricing in Finland but I imagine it will be similar throughout UEFA countries. If you want to start gaining your licenses then go to the Finland FA/ governing body and sign up to do the first level and work your way through the levels until you are happy with where you are.

I currently have my UEFA B license but at the moment cannot afford to do the UEFA A license, but i found it to be really insightful, challenging but good fun.

The content of the UEFA Badges is the same in each country
However you would find differences in how it is delivered or what certain emphasis is placed in certain aspects

UEFA B is what I have and achieved a while back
I would only consider the next step if you’re nailed on to get a job in the professional game as it’s a lot to lay out if you’re semi-pro or even amateur.

{Ed001's Note - if you can get involved with a club, they will usually pay for the badges. Worth keeping an eye on the Training Ground Guru site for jobs in football or LinkedIn is another place football jobs are often advertised.}

OP, just remember when you become first team coach at Liverpool, just don’t write any books about it!
