I have never been a fan of the idea of a European super league, but with Fifa announcing that players within the league would not be allowed to play in any Fifa competition. I sort of like the idea that players would no longer have to go and play pointless international games!

The world cup is the only half decent international football there is. the rest is utter tripe. Football is on a downward spiral for me. Love of the game is dwindling with every VAR decision.

Apologies, I must be getting old Ed002. I can't think for one second that Fifa would maintain their stance. Imagine a World Cup without the best players in it?

4) FIFA would ban all players from the breakaway teams from International football - perhaps rescinding that position to stop FIFA breaking up as well.
