Evening lads.

Well, considering we are within touching distance of our first league title in 30 years, the atmosphere was really flat today.

Not a great team performance but at this stage of the season it's the result that counts, nothing else.

Milner, what can I say, man of the match performance - with a crucial goal line clearance.

One thing is for sure, we will need to change things for A M on Wednesday night. If we continue play from side to side in front of their packed defence, we'll stand no chance. I would play Origi through the middle and really mix things up a bit. As well as our normal, patient build up when teams sit back, I would also hit long balls through and also look for a knock down with runners either side.

I think if we score early, AM won't know what's hit them thereafter!

I'd love for klopp to throw a curve ball. Play Milner right back. Trent right wing. Salah up top and push firmino back into oxlade role. Madrid won't know what to do.

We just need to hold a deeper line to create space in behind, keep Trent and Robbo hugging the touch lines to stretch their defence, and put Salah and Mane in through the channels. I hate seeing our center backs on the half way line and in the opponents half; it makes us look dominant but it forces them to go all out defence. And it's always difficult to create chances like that. We have to play to the strengths of our forwards and they need space in behind to be at their most dangerous.
