I have seen many leaving Liverpool for better opportunities. I don't want Coutinho to go.
You don't sell your talisman. You convince him to stay and build the team around.

{Ed002's Note - You have to accept players are transient and come and go.}

I do accept it ED02 and have been convincing my heart and soul since how many years now. This happens only at Liverpool though. Chelsea keeps Hazard
We work hard to assemble a team and then sell the most important rock.

{Ed002's Note - Chelsea has been far more successful so it makes it far easier.}

Looks like they are going to top of the table. Who saw that coming?

It's not only Liverpool is it. Spurs sold Modric, Carrick, Berbatov, Keane and Bale. Arsenal sold Nasri, Clichy, Sagna, Fabregas, Van Persie, Toure etc. Everton sold Stones, Rodwell, Rooney and Fellaini. Southampton have sold Lallana, Lovren, Shaw, Mane, Clyne, Schneiderlin etc.

We are in the same bracket as these teams. Good clubs who are not winning trophies regularly. Until we are winning silverware we will not be in the same position as Chelsea, Man Utd and Man City will we. They have been regulars in the Champions league and title race for many years. We haven't won a major trophy since 2005. So in a brutally honest fashion, get over it Harry!

I agree that you always try and hold on to your best players, but if they want to leave then forcing them to stay is just a waste of time. I hope this is all just a storm in a tea cup, we win the league, and Coutinho signs an extension to 2022! But if he does not want to be here, I'll make sure the door hits him on the way out ;)

Madrid and Barcelona don't want hazard as well so makes it easier.
