Do we not try and buy players room for improvement - Thiago aside, Consider the line-up that won the Champions League for. With the exception of Alexander-Arnold and Henderson, the club's longest-serving player who was bought by the previous regime aged just 20, each of the other nine players were signed between the ages of 23 and 26. The perfect age to make an instant impact but improve too….

I wholeheartedly agree with Drogie's view above re Ed002, I also completely value your input and the time you take to reply. Please don't let a vocal minority put you off posting.

To your initial point, Drogie, I think if we do end up losing so much experience from our midfield (a glance at BBC rumours suggests there are plans afoot for Fab, Hendo AND Thiago to leave, as well as Kelleher! ) then it would make sense to bring in some more experienced players, hence a link to Llorente.

One that has dropped off radar for a while is Kessie. I know that Barcelona need funds and it was rumoured he was available, but not sure if he's open to a move away?

Hi ed, do you know why al ettifaq requesting jordan henderson for a free transfer. Hendo have a contract at Liverpool until 2025, how can al ettifaq request to buy hendo for a free transfer since he is still have a contract for another 2 years.

From my time using this site, it appears the pattern I see, is people ask Ed02 a question. He gives an answer. If they don’t like his answer, they either bad mouth the player he has mentioned with a passive aggressive tone, or else they ask him the exact same question a day or two later and expect a different answer. It’s entertaining, but at the same time, give the poor man a break. He is doing a great job. Ever heard of a phrase, “don’t shoot the messenger”.

Ed02 has been brilliant this year, and more tolerant than previously. I for one really appreciate the responses I’ve received to my questions. There’s certainly no bad mouthing anyone from my side. I am disappointed we are entertaining a move by Henderson but Fabinho is one we could replace with less impact.

I think you may be remembering the old transfer committee from Brenda's days early in FSG ownership. I think they declared that they had a 24 YO and under buying guidance for the committee to build squad value. I'm going from memory, which is likely as bad as Billy's by now due to old age, but I think that went out in 2015.

Somehow one club that I really like to hate is Atletco Madrid.

I don't want any of their players as long as they are coached by Diego Simeone. His team is anti football and all of them have to buy into his thugology to play.

Have to admit their keeper is really good but we got Becker. Would have loved to get him when we were left with Lord Kaurius and
Migns will let. :-)
