Ok, being told by Man City informer friend that slot has accepted this season to be his mistake in showdown talks with the board. He has owned to it all and has asked club to give him the next season to change everything. He has said that he would understand club want to sack him and would accept it. There is no problem with the players and him and he has presented a brand of football next season that has the board convinced.



Again I know my friend's credentials but I will take any Liverpool related info from him with a pinch of salt.

But he told me at lunch today, and I went for a nap in the evening, and I wake up and Ornstein confirms Alonso to Chelsea.

So well with heavy heart my friend has been right all throughout it seems. We never contacted Alonso, his team contacted us and was shutdown.

Appreciate the post, but to say there is no problem between Sloth and the players is contradicted by Salah's post. There is definitely a disconnect between the players and Sloth that seems to be beyond repair. At this point, it's one of three possibilities: fragile egos, incompetence, or sabotage.

Slot can say whatever claptrap he wants, but he's all season to change things but hasn't.

If (against all reason and logic), he's still here, then it's only going one way, and it won't be pretty.

He has shown that he has no ideas what to do when things go wrong, he can't organise a defence or midfield, struggles against almost every pattern of play you can think of, and nothing is ever down to him, he never takes ownership of his mistakes or failings.



This is a carbon copy of 14/15. Villa was Slot's Stoke City moment. If the senior management team allow this man to persist another season it is going to get very very toxic. There is only one answer, rip the plaster off, sack the man, sack him now and get Brentford out of the way. Do not let him continue one moment more.

There is zero chance he can change everything. And it is absolutely everything that needs to change. If the board bought that, they are absolute tools.

If one of my employees were struggling for a year and a half and told me they would change everything next year, I would probably internally laugh.

Absolute nonsense. A blind man could see that everything is wrong at the club, there's no way anyone's accepting that when, for one, if we give him till October and it's guff then there'll be no managers available and two, who the hell wants to sign for us with all this going on?
Should have gone in December, really disappointed with my club right now, they've done nothing to make the fans feel ok this last few months, if anything they've stoked the flames further.

Perhaps it is true that he claimed the players were behind him, and when Salah heard this he decided to say "f*** you Slot - you've lost the players". I'm probably wrong. I just needed to post the words "f*** you Slot" a couple times. Felt good, but I still feel like crap about all of this though.

Slot is another Ten Hag and Van Gaal. The PL is too big for them, they got no answers or mentality for it.
