Ed1, how long do you think FSG will be patient with the mess that's happening right now before they take action themselves? And by action, I mean getting rid of not just Slot, but also the other two frauds, Edwards and Hughes. Would they really allow this mess to drag on into next summer and let these three continue making a mess of things before walking away at the end of next season?

Their other sports team, the Boston Red Sox, is currently in the same situation as Liverpool, where they are underperforming. The huge Red Sox fanbase is already unhappy with the way FSG is handling the team, with many even calling for them to sell the team. I don't think FSG can afford to alienate another massive fanbase like Liverpool's.

Alex Cora was there for 5 years and was largely under-whelming, missing the play-offs most of that time. Ironically, in his first season they had relative success in making it to the ALCS (semi-finals) and then it went downhill from there.

If anything, it showed that FSG will back the manager before they change course.

Ed, you think there is any chance, as slim as it might be, that both Dick and Ted might be gone as well as Slot? These two are ruining everything that Klopp has built, and the longer they stay at the club, the bigger the mess could become. I'm afraid that if a new coach comes in and starts doing well, both of them will start spinning the narrative that it is all because of their data, some 647-page dossier used to select the new manager, or some other nonsense to make themselves look good again so they can get contract extensions.

I still remember when Hughes got appointed, there were loads of articles about how highly regarded he was and other PR nonsense trying to make him look like one of the best in the business. I'm just hoping FSG start with a clean slate this summer, bring in people who actually know what they are doing, and stop rewarding failure with excuses and media spin.
