Hi Ed’s - with transfer rumours in full swing and Dave’s dog on the look out for blacked out vans heading to Liverpool.

Wanted to ask a slightly different question. Given we have tried to “reset” is there anything else you want the club to focus on before next season? (Other elephant is long term sporting director)

Happy with the new Stand and we have bought melwood back for the ladies team.

{Ed001's Note - personally I think the next step has to be to get some kind of plan in place for improving the infrastructure around Anfield to allow the capacity to be increased even further in the future. And also, just in case that proves to be impossible, to look into other sites for a stadium that can be much larger. Should always be keeping our options open.

Along with that, we need to set up a more long term plan for getting academy players into the first team, with a sporting director in place who will plan buys around the academy products coming through. So that there is no doing what Rodgers did and buy players to replace every academy prospect that he had used. Any future head coach should be coming in on the understanding that they should always look to the academy for players first, before the transfer market.}

Ed001, other than the obvious Doak, Bradley/ Ramsey is there anyone else from the academy you think we should be looking to use? Morton looked like one but I can't really see him getting a chance with 3 new midfielders coming in and Elliot and Jones being young unless someone like Fab leaves.

What about the 2 young goalkeepers ed1, Davies and pitagula, they both seem highly rated and there will be a spot in our 1st team squad up for grabs once kelleher goes which seems envitable. do u know if either are seen as being capable of being a no.2 next season? Ed2 has said previously that atletico madrid interested in pitagula so he must be decent enough.

1) Coaching team additions - preferably for the forward patterns
2) Begin the multi-club model - one South American and at least one European team in the portfolio
3) Continue to develop Anfield - and dependent infrastructure. Would love to see a bigger Kop that rivals the Yellow Wall.
4) Add a neuroscience/ motor control department.

I hope we never leave anfield, it's the 1 advantage we have over our rivals nowadays. We don't have the financial backing of city/ utd/ Chelsea/ arsenal etc but they don't have a home stadium that can almost win a big game on its own.

The club also needs to plan for klopps departure. Find a coach that will work with him the season before he leaves.

Wasn't the new stadium the plan when fsg first came in eds? Seems they have wasted money in extending anfield. I know its sentiment but the stadium is still not big enough and probably won't ever be. how hard to get to tickets shows that.

Interesting you talking about the ground eds1. With the ground now going up to 61 k and obviously that’s no where near big enough. How big do you think we need to be? Old Trafford is 74k think TH is 60k and Emirate’s is 60 as well. I’d say at least 80k?

Quansah should be given game time lads, He's 20 now and i am sure Jurgen will look at him in pre season. I also think the Kids, Ranel Young and Callum Scanlon from the under 18s are exciting prospects.
Bobby Clarke, isacc Mabaya returning from injury are 2 others I am sure will be looked at.
