ed001 I don't get all the moaning about signing players we signed the left back cover we needed to help push Robbo and keep him on his toes. We have the same at right back now thanks to Williams. The only think I don't like Ed is it looks like the club are going to let Gini leave. And from what I have seen from Nabby his a massive drop from Gini when he comes into the side and even if Thiago comes to replace him I don't know how is injuries will hold up in the premier league as its so much more intense than the Bundesliga and I can't remember Gini missing to many games with injuries. I think we have improved are squad as much as anybody else from this time last year just because of the young players we have had getting into the squad.

I am excited about curtis jones potential he and minamino I think would fit nicely into midfield receiving the ball a bit deeper and driving at defences .

We have a terrific squad some very good youngsters coming through the best manager in football and still people moan honestly we won the premier league by a country mile this side ain’t too bad.

yeah I think his a massive improvement on Lallana Ed who has been only a bit part player for the last 3 season and well past his best from when Klopp first come to the club. Even Ox is in so much better shape than he was this time last year even with his injury he has at the minute. And I think we will see a little bit more from Elliot this year and Minamino looks a 100% better than he did before lockdown. I would like Brewster to stay ed I think his goal scoring skill could be massive for us this season as last season all are front 3 was very waste full in games what we only ending up winning by the odd goal And you only need a few Burnley games to put a bit of pressure on are self's but we do have plenty in are squad to carry on from last season.

We need a CB and Sarr if we are serious about defending our title. And if Gini leaves we should go for Thiago.

I know C.V. had severe impact onto our finances. As such I am not complaining. I am simply stating the fact that those would be areas that if addressed would make us a much stronger team.

I would think we are taking our time making a decision as we really have confidence in the squad and only have a few minor details to improve upon, namely our centerback cover and a potential replacement for Lallana. can't see us adding any attacking talent even if Origi were to move on, as Taki is the wildcard and Brewster would move into Origis role. Midfield, we could move Wilson and Grujic on and bring in a player that can operate in several midfield positions. Thiago seems the most likely candidate. Even without those two, we have Gini, Milner, Henderson, Ox, Fabinho, Jones for three positions. Oh and Elliott which I guess would be on the wing. I wouldn't be upset if we gave Grujic a go and he covered for Fab and Fabinho got a few games at centerback over the season. There is no need to rush a signing. We cannot sustainably add an Allison or VVD every season and even with other teams investing, we have a young and hungry squad of stars, quite possibly the best in the world. I for one want to see our tight knit group go for the title again.

Just wanted to shout out Keita who i forgot in my post above when mentioning our midfield. He has been coming along nicely and i think he will get a good run of games once the season starts.

The only thing stopping us winning the title again will be the attitude of the players. If the team is focused and angry again, as they were for most of last season, we will win comfortably. If, however, some of the lads decide to dine out on last season and play in similar fashion to how they have done since February, we will be in a fight for top 4 - make no mistake. We are easily the best team in the country, but our air of invincibility needs building up again or we will be in for a few shocks.

I personally think that if we are to improve our midfield that Gini is the easiest 1 to replace. Yes he is a good player, but for my liking he has to many anonymous games. he's brilliant 1 week then totally passive the next. Would like him to stay, but IF we can replace him with Thiago, let's not pretend that that's not a big step up in quality. I know Gini brings more energy but if its a choice between Gini and Thiago, its Thiago everytime.

Spot on, lads. We are in good shape esp in midfield whether Gini leaves or not. Up top, Mino is ready to go while Keita has a chance to step up. Our real need at LB has been filled and if Fab has to play CB a bit then fine. Hendo can drop into the DM role seamlessly. Let’s Go!
