He was excellent tonight, some superb saves in the second half and he commanded his box really well IMO.

Navas has always had that in his locker as he has very good reflexes. The issue is that he is a flapper, poor on crosses and poor with his feet. Also, he does not fit the way we play and is severely error-prone. Apart from all that, he is awesome.

{Ed0333's Note - he’s not the best looking guy in the world either definitely a step down in that department. My wife will be gutted if she doesn’t get her fill of Karius next season.

In liking Karius, he comes out so quick like a proper sweeper keeper. Sometimes it's too early with chances but he has saved us from balls over the top on many occasions - looks simple but let's face it mingolet would stay on his line.
