We were going to have to beat big teams at some stage if we wanted to win the CL. We did great early on Against them at Anfield but fell to pieces at the end a little but with VVD now hopefully that won’t happen again. We were down to 10 men at their place so Can’t really look to much into that game.
They are dodgy at the back just like us, they are excellent up front just like us.
It’s down to the 3 in midfield to put in a couple of great performances and not the headless chicken running around carry on we’ve seen a bit recently. Well Klopp and the team know everything possible about Man City so no surprises, no extra scouting needed, just man up and give it everything and hopefully we have enough to win the tie but if we do leave let’s go out with pride giving them the best matches possible and not out with a whimper like against a Man Utd.
If a player can’t get up for these matches and give it everything then he shouldn’t be at Liverpool FC.

We are European Royalty. Anfield will frighten the life outa them again.

I feel cheated. Say we go out to city, we have gone all the way to the quarter finals and the only decent European teams we have played are porto and seville (who sound more europa league that champions league) I was looking forward to the real Madrid and juventus of the world coming to anfield.

On the plus side, we know we can beat City, we only have a 30 mile bus ride and we know the team more than we know bayern Munich Barcelona etc.

SS, if we go out to City then so be it. That's footie and life goes on. What I will not allow is for us to not give all we've got in both games. That will not be acceptable, IMO. In games like these, you as the underdog, MUST give it all you've got cos what you don't want when you lose is to start thinking of what might have been. You may still get your wish of Juve, Real or Bayern coming to Anfield so that is where the focus should be, IMO.
