Liverpool drop to 55th in UEFA rankings published today. Lowest in our history. below clubs such as Apoel, Tranzonspor, Metalist Kharkiv and Genk.

sam the ranking has its purpose, and as ed002 said, it shows liverpool has not been playing in european competitions for the past years.

we haven't been doing well, if lfc want better they must earn it.

Is playing in European Competitions the only marker for success and as for the matter that Liverpool are depending on others, I will say that yes they might be 5th in the premier league but for sure they are still in the top 15 clubs in the world even in terms of players and a consistent run in the champions league will get us to quarter finals with some luck.

The rankings are fair and it highlights how far we have fallen in the past 5 years. Remember Rafa has us as the No.1 ranked European team?? Damn seems a long time ago and honestly can't see us rising up those rankings anytime soon.
