It would be interesting to see what a tony pulis type manager would do to a squad like Liverpool's. He seems to get his teams playing and punching above their weight. It would be interesting to see a manager like that manage a big club with world class players.

Yes it would, but not ours thanks. I'll stick to supporting the style the existing manager had us playing last year and we are seeing a lot more of again now. Give Studge a few games back and we'll be at a much better level.

We shouldn't be in a 'punching above our weight' position. We believe we are a top four team - therefore we should only be buying players that play to that level, only hiring coaches that coach to that level and only have a manger who accepts nothing less than that level.

Not this again please.

Shameful comment that is.

I believe if the owners were to sack BR, they would want to replace him with a manager to move forward. without any disrespect to him, that man is not Tony Pulis.

5.) 29 Jan 2015
Sure if not Pulis why not Warnock?

Can you not just watch Chelsea?

7.) 29 Jan 2015
Not saying I would want this for us, as I would rather watch a team that play football. i'm just saying that if he brings a winning mentality then sure if this was the case and an owner was looking to add this to his squad no matter what type of football is played then why not give him a whirl.

Im actually a supporter who stands by our manager and the brand of football we play. This was just an open thought.

relax

It's an experiment that get's tried quite often with players and managers and very rarely works:

X player/manager, with Y support/resources, did Z

Therefore is X player/manager was given Y+ resources, surely they would get Z+ results!

Unfortunately doesn't work often. Some managers just find their level and their neiche. Harry Redknapp is probably the best example - specialist at avoiding relegation so given spurs on the assumption that he's use that same ability with a much better squad to push at the top. But all he really did, as he did with the relegation threatened teams, was keep them around where they should be
