Lfc transfer rumours lately

Ings - free

Milner - free

Kidhera - free

W.Ried - free

I no we were linked with keepers from Italy Neto I think also free

Singing in fees and of course agent fees cost higher wages ect

I also no we won't sign all of these but there is a few gems out there at the moment

Dani Alves even could be there

dezyboy2

1.) 03 Mar 2015 01:21:08
Ings is NOT free as he is subject to a development fee of around £5m if I'm not mistaken.

2.) 03 Mar 2015 10:15:04
I won't split hairs over £5m but Khedira's name really is easier to spell than many people think. ;)

I would like all of the above with 12 or 13 departures.
I'd prefer Mat Ryan over Neto & Marcell Jansen would make a fine Enrique replacement.
We don't need Dani Alves and he would want stupid money.

Ed001 just reading Darwin is working with bielsa to help him with his game
What do you make of this is it normal and do you think its a good idea I know you hold bielsa in high regard.

dezyboy2

{Ed001's Note - it is not normal because players don't normally bother. It is a good sign that he is willing to do that bit more to make himself a better player.}

1.) 29 Aug 2023 23:57:09
We sign real characters. Read about Darwins story to becoming a pro.

Guys overcome worse. He's not going to sit back and not conquer

He's a mentality monster.

2.) 30 Aug 2023 00:50:12
The connection is natural given Biesla is Uruguay coach.

3.) 30 Aug 2023 03:05:48
Any playing who is going above and beyond has my respect and will get better. Darwin channeling that Mamba mentality.

4.) 30 Aug 2023 06:00:30
I'm sure coaches contact bielsa for advice, isn't he a mad genius. Remember an article about Rodgers seeking advice when at liverpool.

5.) 30 Aug 2023 07:52:25
I think Rogers asked him what names he should put In the envelopes.

6.) 30 Aug 2023 12:11:32
Faithinworks, that may be true but the fact that Darwin is taking extra lessons and outside advise on how he can work on his game and the things he can do to get better overall, should still be commended in my book. That shows he is ready to do the extra stuff and leave no stone un-turned to be great. He also quit social media, as well which is never a bad thing.

I read his story too and for him to be where he is in his life after the hardships he, his family and esp. his brother who gave up a footballing career so Darwin could have his (I think), is a true blessing and inspiration, IMO. Even if Darwin quits on himself, we and Klopp should never quit on him.

Hello every body nice way to finish before the international period

What does everyone think about January signings? We are in a great position bit of one of our front 3 got injuried it would be a struggle to keep it up
Same goes for our full backs albeit it's probably harder to replace them at the minute.

dezyboy2

1.) 11 Nov 2019 19:12:18
I think origi is more than adequate cover for our front 3.in fact I think we are lucky to still have him. I'd like to see more of him as everytime he gets the ball in the final third I get the feeling it's going to end up in the back of the net. All 5 of our strikers can play cf and all but maybe brewster can play out wide on either wing so we are fine there.

It's the lb position that worries me. milner is good cover and gomez has played there. I reckon wjinaldum could play lb but would be wasted there. What a player! We really don't need anybody. Any signing will be a luxury. Kdb is class but look at some of the balls hendo and gini played and both are more robust than kev.

With fabhino in our team we are hard to beat. I think the amount of draws will determine if we lift the prem. I'm not looking forward to Leicester away or city away but I still don't see us losing them.

I'm really looking forward to utd (that's Manchester utd) coming to anfield. We are going to batter them.

2.) 11 Nov 2019 22:06:35
We never seem to batter utd and always show them way too much respect.

It's only Sunday and people here are fearing the worse against hull

This is the season to put the smaller teams to bed and break this hoodoo.

dezyboy2

1.) 18 Sep 2016 10:17:28
Looking at our performances last season in the EPL excluding wins under Klopp starting from his first match

Tottenham Hotspur - away D0-0
Southampton - home D1-1
Crystal Palace - home L1-2
Newcastle United - away L0-2
West Bromwich Albion - home D2-2
Watford - away L0-3
West Ham United - away L0-2
Manchester United - home L0-1
Leicester City - away L0-2
Sunderland - home D2-2
Southampton - away L2-3
Tottenham Hotspur - home D1-1
Newcastle United - home D2-2
Swansea City - away L1-3
Chelsea - home D1-1
West Bromwich Albion - away D1-1

Looking at the above, I do not see it as putting smaller teams to bed. Our aim should be to significantly improve our home form this season. Far too many points dropped at home last season. Make Anfield a fortress and keep the points ticking away from home and a place in the top four will be ours.

2.) 18 Sep 2016 12:24:16
Didnt realise home form was that bad Max, spot on.

3.) 19 Sep 2016 09:31:45
when you actually realise how many games we were leading from that list, and lost them or drew them. i think that was part to our fitness level. southampton game where we played best 45 minutes of football in long time, leading 2 0 at half time to lose it later, or sunderland game. hope those things don't happen again.

Gotta love this site I asked for people view on GW cause he slips under the radar with me so just wanted couple of opinions of what he has been bringing and if maybe can may be suited better in that roll although playing who we are play I doubt were carrying anyone

All I did was ask relax guys.

dezyboy2

1.) 17 Sep 2016 11:48:19
What roll? The majority from last night's chat think he played well and is playing well.
I disagree and I do think he's a passenger.

2.) 17 Sep 2016 15:39:14
if you don't think Wijuldum had a good game last night you either a) have already passed judgement on him and not wanting to change your view or b) don't appreciate a player unless he makes some 'Hollywood' play.
He was good last night, and against Leicester. I was critical of the purchase but I'm beginning to change my tune on him.

3.) 17 Sep 2016 16:42:23
Wiji had a very good game last night and this is coming from someone who doesn't think he's needed.

16 Sep 2016 22:17:23
Matip looks tidy as hell on the ball bravo he was bad for the goal but other then that he was immense!

If anyone cares to highlight GW for me as a overall LFC player so far please do he seems the be out of sync at times.

dezyboy2

1.) 16 Sep 2016 22:29:46
I thought GW was really good today. Tidy in possession looked good under pressure also carried the ball a lot to turn defence in to attack, ran all day. him and hendo were brilliant.

2.) 16 Sep 2016 22:33:37
Yes dezy, it's easy to forget he's playing st times.

3.) 16 Sep 2016 22:39:52
So we have just beaten one of our contenders for a top 4 finish. The boys played superbly for most of the game, we scored 2 fantastic goals and we dug in 2nd half to see out the game but still you find the need to complain about Gini. For me he had his best game for us tonight. He picked up players well, closed down brilliantly and intercepted numerous passes. He gives us more power and strength in the middle of the park. If you watched the game properly and looked out for these things then you might appreciate these small details that make such a big difference to a game. How many games has he played? 4? 5? he's has played better with each game. Give the guy a chance!

4.) 16 Sep 2016 22:42:08
Goni is a class player, keeps the ball moving.

5.) 16 Sep 2016 22:23:16
I thought GW was brilliant today. Very efficient and hard working. He's not as good on the eye as others but he's done his work well.

6.) 16 Sep 2016 22:58:07
Anyone who tells me Wijnaldum was not effective tonight knows zip about football. He was superb. One misplaced pass and he was all over the pitch. Pace, power, skill. He will only get better too. Great performance by the lads and lots to look forward to!

Although may not be a good thing considering salahs form.

Shocked we aren't looking for full back cover Milner is our left full after robbo and Gomez for Trent neither are naturally full backs and they are vital to how we play strange one for me.

dezyboy2

{Ed002's Note - Maybe if Liverpool were sell the two excellent young LB s they have who are waiting for a chance the club could look to another “marquee” signing to sit on the bench with Mbappe and the others. You need to get the Adam Lewis and Yasser Larouci “out” campaign going.}

I think he is different then Moreno has good delivery and doesn't do crazy lunge tackles.

dezyboy2

{Ed001's Note - but he doesn't work back to get in position to do crazy lunges most of the time when I have seen him.}

I feel if he moved to midfield he would never rotate full back again, he would become to important for us in there as we lack someone with that passing ability

Although fabs likes a ding to the right side.

Bigger stadiums don't have less atmosphere look at Celtic park

Shocking team but the crowd makes then good enough to draw with city see what happens away from home.

Ings is the only striker who could match the Firmino up top in terms of work rate

Origi was quality when he came in last season looks to me he is a big confidence player (maybe due to age) dunno if he could match the two above for closing down

Sturrdige has the quality but not the bottle or work rate.
