All boys out for Boxing Day yesterday, and a guy I buy tickets off (gets them through players such as Woodburn, TAA, etc told me about Gakpo and said he knew the night we played Man City in the cup after collecting tickets that afternoon.
He said as far as he knows the club are looking to sign a midfielder in the window but Caicedo who is my pick, is not under consideration!
A shame, he said it is likely someone we don’t know about yet and might be a loan to buy option?

Gakpo just seems like a perfect Bobby replacement I think people forget klopp made Bobby the false 9 he came as an attacking midfielder very akin to gakpo ( although he plays from the left ) . But with gakpo you have more height speed and can play more positions than Bobby

Seems a great appointment
But time will tell.

I don't see the blues going down. Think they will be safe by a few points.
However if frank don't get the summer transfers right he's gone.
He inherited a squad that wasn't doing much and deserves a couple of windows to make it right.
Look at Arsenal lots of people on here were saying the managers no good etc and now they are sitting pretty on top spot.

Being a proud scouser you don't want either sets of fans going that way . I have blue mates and and the banter has turned dark over the last 5 year’s especially. From both sets of fans.

Hello ed25 hope u keeping well? As regards lampard going, who do use replace him with? Everton have almost tried every angle as regards a manager over last few years, young upincoming managers in silva +lampard, older experienced men in benetiz +ancelotti, club legend in ferguson. i really don't know where they go. I thought lampard would've done better with use to be honest.

{Ed025's Note - frank is inexperienced digger and may do better in a less toxic club. For me the last throw of the dice would be Dyche. It would not be pretty but he would have a better chance than most I feel mate..

Jesus dunno about dyche ed25, prob make u hard te beat for a while but his football is terrible, I don't think Everton fans would put up with it after the initial novelty of a few wins wore off.
