Liverpool are rumoured to have bid €17m for Benjamin Andre. Never seen him play but he is 27 years old, and made 329 interceptions last season; most in Ligue 1.

Not ITK, just sharing a rumour coming out of France this morning.

Wasn't he the guy from Outkast? Andre 3000? If so, that's another pop star that's been linked with us after Lemar. Maybe we're starting a band?

Seriously though, I too have become one of those sad people who spends the entire summer searching for Liverpool transfer rumours and then going straight to youtube when I've never heard of them. From the looks of him, he's someone who can help break down teams and provide a link between midfield and attack, combined with an incredible interception rate.

So we can;t sign Keita so we are going for 2nd or 3rd best are we? what's the point when we've got Henderson, Crujic, Milner, Can, Wijnaldum and Ejaria looking for places in midfield. Must be better to use what we currently have and then hopefully get our number 1 target next year. Grujic has to get his opportunities to keep his WP. As the Eds has said before we can't just keep adding and adding players.

Its going to be a long season, and too many injuries, we might need a couple of good squad players, we didn't sign them last January window, I hope that we have learnt our lesson from that basic error .

I agree red forever. On the one hand we keep hearing that we have a fairly thin squad and on the other hand we hear that if we buy we need to sell. Personally I'd like to see us sign. A top goal scorer to tap in ALL the chances we create. A cb who is strong in the air and has brilliant organisational skills and a holding midfielder who can play the ball well. You could say we have DS and matip and Hendo. Yes we do but they are all a little injury prone. Realistically we should add at least one senior player. right?
