Ed2 sportbild claim we've held a 1st meeting with Xhaka. Any truth?

{Ed002's Note - Gladbach have made it clear they have no interest in selling this month so it seems surprising they would agree to meet with Liverpool.}

Eds the article in question states that klopp has met with Xhaka himself. There is no mention of us meeting with Gladbach.

There's pics being posted today online of klopp and that agent meeting in public don't know if that means anything but it is made to look suspicious on their pages.

There are teams like City and Juventus interested in Xhaka and the price will be close to 40 million euros. That itself rules us out of the running for Xhaka, whether we have shown interest or not.

The rumour is that Klopp met with his agent, if your sources are saying he met up with the player I would think twice, in any instance, about believing anything they say.

{Ed002's Note - I would be surprised if Liverpool has assigned Klopp to get involved at that level. The player does not have an agent but is represented by his father - as is his brother.}
