You keep posting like that easypeasysqueezy and you might become my new favourite poster. Awesome read and I agree with everything you said.

Me personally, I'd buy a top rb. Perhaps that's because I haven't seen enough of Bradley to see him as first choice rb. But I'm with you. Arnold should move to midfield full time. Preferably in a 433 formation. This inverted full back has its advantages but I don't like it overall.

On Jones, I think he has just taken a step forward in his development rather than it being down to formation. I see no issues with him playing 8 in a 433.

Mac Allaister will be a good add but we need a DM to complement him. A mobile one. Lavia, Thuram are good shouts. I hope we still have eyes on Caicedo. Love him.

Then we must get a young CB who can really challenge Van Dijk and Konate. A robust one that doesn't break down easily.

Job done. Title challenge thereafter.

With Caicedo also playing this inverted cm to rb role and De Zerbi saying both him and Mc Allister will be leaving, do the Ed’s think he might be a possibility with him and trent filling in for each other and giving them the freedom knowing the others covering, essentially switching positions with each other during the game in or out of possession?

Trent-Bellingham
Salah-Macallister-Mount-Diaz
Gakpo

Looks a bit too attacking really switch Jude for a more defensive player and if Mount doesn’t happen someone else instead of him.

Easy, that was a good read. i've been saying it. Trent needs to be in midfield cos he is ready now. He may not have been ready in the past and even if he was, he was doing a madness from RB and was arguably the best in the world at that position for 2 years easily so there was no need to switch him out, really. For me, it's time.

Imagine we have MacAllister and Trent in central midfield? Our midfield goes up a level right there already. You add another one with Baj, Jones and Elliott who have had good games and flashed quite a bit for us here and there last season (esp. Jones) then that's stuff you can work with and makes us better. Add in Thiago as well who can chip in with several appearances here and there then, I think we're solid.

For RB, I think Ramsay and Bradley need to fight for that RB spot cos we don't need to sign one if you have a Bradley who knows the system inside out, IMO. Just my take, man.

Bradley is a right wing back just like Trent. That is what he played for Northern Ireland and Bolton with a back three.
