Akira. Credit where it’s due. You have been pretty spot on with everything so far. Have you got anything in regards to the takeover and also if we are in for a midfielder in this transfer window?

The takeover will take time and it seems all the more likely that we will have middle eastern ownership (there is only one serious offer but at a very levelled evaluation of the club) and everything else is projection. FSG also are in two minds whether to sell or part sell. This will drag as it involves a lot of money and these transactions involve a lot of due diligence processes.

Unfortunately with information i have there is absolutely no money for a 100mil midfielder. The gakpo money is not new. We would have bought him in summer. I said the same in summer window. He was supposed to be done and I was told things were agreed to buy him and loan him back but out of nowhere we belted out an insane sum for nunez and gakpo took a backseat. Maybe the new plan was to buy him for January. But again in october i was told gakpo is dead certain as he was once again recommended to us and we were ready this time.

There is a Serbian kiddie who still might join. Also declan rice might be ready to throw his toys out so we can keep a look for that. Money still will be a big issue.

Thanks for the info, Akira. As for the potential sale of the club like you, I think it will take a long time IF indeed, that is what eventually happens. Based on what I know or the little I know, FSG and Henry esp. would like potential investors as a first option so I think that will be their main focus and all avenues to that effect will be explored cos IMO, that is what they really want to do. The sale is seen as a last resort which shows they are not just going to hold on to us for the sake of it.
