Hi ED01; you're obviously a huge fan of Bissouma and I note the reference you made to Kante but if we were to sign him where does he fit in the team if Fabinho plays also? Who would be your midfield 3 if he were to come and how would we play? Would he be the #8?

OP, Bissouma is the real deal. I have been watching him (and Brighton of course) for the past 3 years and what Ed01 said is correct. There is no position in CM that he cannot play effectively, IMO. Last season at Anfield, he played the DM role and put out a clinic on great DM play. He can also get forward and has a good shot on him. The guy would solve a ton of problems in our midfield esp. due to his versatility.

We definitely can’t afford Bellingham. And judging by his reaction to the link I’d say he’s got his sights set on a move elsewhere. Bissouma would do for me. If he can get past that nasty bit of business he has going on.

ArAy1969, I have not seen Bellingham play that much BUT I can understand those who have seen him play who say he is brilliant. For me and for right now, Bissouma all day long cos he fits everything we are trying to do in midfield. Bellingham? Maybe for later.

I wouldn't go getting any hopes up of a January transfer for Bissouma. Brighton aren't likely to let their best player go halfway through the season. And before the inevitable answer of "bung them some more cash" we'd already be struggling to afford him in the first place.
He might be more attainable in the summer, that's if Klopp really wants him.

Id say his reaction was more to do with the quote he could move as soon as January Victor. Honestly think we would be right up there in terms of clubs he'd like to play for.
