Morning eds. Squeaky bum time fast approaching regarding transfers. Surely we are not content with our defence or midfield. Are we looking like we are going to get some deals finalised eds or we thinking it's done? I know you have maintained that we will sign players but the sands of time are going fast and we are running out of time.

The transfer clock is winding to an end, to Liverpool football club that just simply means that Jorg Schmadtke's contract ends and Nat Phillips gets a loan move somewhere.

Is this not the best way for the club to do it's transfer business? Keep it quiet and between clubs involved. Look at how the Caicedo and Lavia deals worked out for the club and the media coverage it sparked. Let's wait and see how it pans out. I'm as nervous as anyone about the impending closure of the window and us failing to bring in anyone else, but I have faith in the fact that the eds have said the club are trying to get deals done.
