Hi Ed002, I searched for your comments on Mason Mount and I think your last comments were 6 weeks or so ago. Are you aware of Liverpool have enquired after him?

Recent transfers (Gakpo, Diaz and even Arthur) have been pretty under the radar. With all the talk of Bellingham, Fernandez, Amarbat (sic) and Caceido, I wonder if a deal for Mount is being worked on behind the scenes.

Your view, as always, would be appreciated.

{Ed002's Note - Chelsea fielded an enquiry for Mount a few months ago via a third party but I am not aware of Liverpol showing any interest in him or making any approach to Chelsea for him.}

Sorry I’ll reword that. If Chelsea signed Enzo would they be open to selling Mason Mount or Conor Gallagher?

I appreciate we haven’t shown interest in either but a dream summer for me would be Connor Gallagher and Jude Bellingham signing for Liverpool!

If Connor Gallagher is a dream signing for you Bmena, I’d suggest you seek professional help as he’s a very poor midfielder and wouldn’t improve us one iota.

It’s a game of opinions victor mate. Gallagher was excellent for palace last season and being young and homegrown I think would be a super player to have for the next 10 years. Not the finished article by any means but with Klopp guiding him I think he would be superb.

Who do you want us to sign mate?

For me Bmena, Gallagher is very one paced, isn’t alert to danger, doesn’t read the game very well, all he does well at is the late arrive in the box to score the odd goal, a happy shopper Frank Lampard, looks like a mid table player at best.

Given our lack of pace, strength and impetus in midfield we should be looking at Caicedo, Sangare, Kephren Thuram, Kone. Someone like that.

Fair enough man, haven’t seen enough of Caicedo to judge tbh but I know he’s rated very highly by lots of posters on here.

While I agree our midfield lacks the steel that we’ve become accustomed to under Klopp I think it’s too easy to say that we need fast, strong players. I want a midfielder who can link play and keep the ball in tight areas as well as move box to box.

There has to be someone who can provide that that doesn’t break the bank… if it’s one of the lads you’ve mentioned above I’m all for it ?.
