Once selling clubs know you could be desperate, as SixTimes says the cost escalates (de jong, fofana, gordon etc, though we have no interest in gordon, fofana it is only an example) hence Jurgens and FSGs good business acumen of getting transfers done early (in Keita's case 12 months early, all transfers in the end are a gamble even if done early, as Keita has proved subsequently to our detriment) .

Hence Jurgens/ FSGs stance of "we go with what we have got" mumblings, this is also a calculated gamble, only when the points/ cup trophies are added up at the end of the season, will we know whether JUrgen's decision and FSGs pre season decision's was prudent and more importantly the correct one.

The more better quality players you have can only improve the team, not weaken the team in the long run.

Aside from the money, I think we have as many senior players as we're allowed register anyway (at work, so I can't double check) .

So I don't see a midfielder arriving unless a player leave.

As Ed has observed in the past, we can't just keep adding players to the squad.

SR, How come you say we will have difficulties getting one player into the club this transfer window besides money, and Notts Forest have just signed their 18th Player in this transfer window, and have not finished their transfer business yet, according to Sky Sports it will reach 21 players in at the end of the transfer window.

Champions league same squad as last year just replace Mane Origi and Minamino with Nunez Carvalho and Ramsey. (Jones is still list b) . Unregister Adrian and make Davies (also list b) 3rd choice. Sell or loan Phillips. Then there’s room for someone to come in.

Bragging rights Saturday, don't think ye too worried about NoNouse coming back, he can't control his temper when he's playing in front of his home crowd, he won't know what's hit him after the playing of Z cars, no worse place on the earth to run out into when ye wearing an LFC shirt as he will find out on Saturday if selected, as you are well aware form goes out of the window in a Derby game, a bit of lady luck and ye never know, this will be our hardest game this season so far in the Premier, i will be made up with a draw to be honest, as it's better than nothing.

I expect the usual from lampard and efc everyone behind the ball, fall over every chance they get, should for a foul on every challenge, ask for handball on every ball into the box and try and injure an lfc player as that is there trophy for the season.

Either way once we get one we will win comfortably and I expect Bobby to start even with DN back.
