As always, great read on the Ipswich game Ed001 mate.

Just wondering if you'll be doing reviews for the CL games, or rather if you even have the time for it!

If not, can you help with what Iraola meant when he said the start of the game AM played differently so then he made the changes on the fly etc?

{Ed001's Note - I haven't seen what he said to have an idea what he was referring to.

Apparently Iraola wasn't expecting Athletico to play 3/5 at the back and overload the midfield, having set the team to press a traditional 4, allowing them to find pockets of space and dictate pace more than we would have liked.

Ed, this is what Iraola said in the interview with Stevie G:

"I think today I have to blame myself a little bit for the start of the game. I think Atletico used a structure that they hadn't used before this season, and it cost us a little bit to match up properly."

I don't remember exactly; it was either Atletico playing with a back four instead of a back five, or vice versa. Either way, it's nice to have a coach who can admit when he's wrong instead of looking for excuses.
