Salah has just been taking off with a hamstring injury. Hopefully it's not too bad.

Didn’t see the injury but as Egypt are a goal down they could struggle to get out of the group. That may not be the worse result for us.

It didn’t look too bad, he sat straight on the bench after and no ice was applied although it was a few minutes before half time so they might have just been waiting to check it at half time.

As Jonbone says it could be a blessing as if they go out early he can come back nice and rested, ready to fire us to the title.

Plus I think the pressure and criticism he gets playing for Egypt affects his form for us. This way he’s taken out of the firing line.

Yeah, game ended 2-2 and frankly I do not see this Egypt team doing anything without Salah, they are that dire. And their GK? The less said, the better.

Think I heard earlier that if Egypt go out of group stages it’s agreed Salah has a week off and comes back the first week of Feb which would make him
Possibly available for Arsenal.

But I suppose it all depends on Egypt’s last game and the extent of the injury.

Egypt don't do anything with Salah either. The coach is negative. We also have to consider the negative impact going out may have on Salah and his form. This is very likely his last AFCON and, in his own words, is desperate to win it with his country. If he goes out at the group stages, it could severely affect him and in turn, affect his LFC performances.
