Ed001 what did you make of Elliott performance against Palace? The pass to nunez was top drawer.

{Ed001's Note - it was promising. I would like to see him take more responsibility on and shoot more though.}

My thoughts exactly ed001. Think Harvey needs to start taking risks and not going for the safe option all the time.

Ed001 I was saying something similar earlier. It’s mental to think he’s only ever started 6 league games for us.

Monday was his best game by some distance in my opinion. I think his workrate was better than I have seen before, he was more involved in general.

He's finding his feet in the first team. Once he starts to feel comfortable he'll start to improve. Right now he doesn't want to make mistakes and give the ball away cheaply. Once his confidence starts to rise he'll get more adventurous.
He's a terrific prospect, it'll be fascinating to see just how high his ceiling is ability wise. I doubt he'll fail for lack of effort judging by recent performances either.

Elliot is doing what loads of guys his age only get the opportunity to do in the bundesliga. He has maturity beyond his years and just needs to remain consistent cos so far so good imo.

Ed001 agree mate it’s testament to him that he’s even being considered. It feels like we as fans though are putting too much pressure on him sometimes. Almost got him 2nd guessing himself in some situations where he should just let his natural ability take over and do things subconsciously.

{Ed001's Note - pressure is a good thing. It is up to the coaching staff to ensure he is able t9o perform while under it, but if you don't subject him to it you never find out if he cracks or rises to the occasion.}
