Would our strikers benefit from a striking coach? Fowler, Rush for example.

{Ed001's Note - we don't actually play with out and out strikers, but specialist coaching is, imo, always a good thing, so long as the coach is good at his job. The problem is that this season there has been very little time for any coach to work with any of the players anyway.}

Do you think the current coaches have the creativity and skill to work on helping striker instinct, technique and confidence? I’m not convinced as this has been an issue for more than just this season - albeit this season it’s been worse. Even last season we made games much tighter than needed but has a solid defence/ midfield to see them through. I’d like to see some variation added to the coaching staff this summer as much as I’d like to freshen up the front line.

{Ed001's Note - I think we need to look at adding someone to work on that. Personally I would bring Valero back.}

Yep, no time to coach players as there is so little chance between games so what everyone needs is more games isn't it UEFA 😒.

How much coaching do players who earn 100k plus a week need 🤣. I might tell my boss yes you pay me a salary but I can’t produce what you want until you pay someone else who doesn’t have my talent to coach me to get the best out of me. These players need to take far more responsibility and stop being pampered with excuse after excuse.

JK23, I can't imagine your job is even remotely like elite level sports so the analogy doesn't work.

{Ed001's Note - exactly, the margins will be hugely different. If he is not at the top of his game I doubt it really makes a huge difference to his work. In any job that does demand peak concentration, then they will go through years of training before even beginning to do it. A brain surgeon doesn't just get handed a brain saw and scalpel and set loose to learn on the job.}

Practically all of the world's top golfers have a long game coach (Butch Harmon etc.), short game coach, putting, fitness and strength, and psychology

On top of that they try to peak their game for one of the major weeks,
