Shaqiri signed and for a reported 13million can’t help but think it’s a no lose situation. Need strength in depth, he will be under no illusions on the task of dislodging one of our first eleven and that can only be a good thing for him in my eyes. I think everyone got the impression that he wasn’t motivated for stoke and was still their best player (granted that wasn’t hard) imagine if Klopp can drill into him about grafting for the team and he can get a couple of worldies that he’s known for. 13million for someone who is a good age at 26 and if Klopp can get him working for the team I think he could be a little gem of a player. If not we’ll get the 13million plus back off someone in a couple of seasons.

A shrewd signing in my opinion, a very talented and versatile player for the squad. Remember not so long ago we signed Ousamma Assaidi as a player tor the squad. We’ve come a long way lads and it’s great!

At the end of the day if we were in a Cl game and Salah was out, who would you pick for 13 million over shaqiri? Hopefully he likes it here and works hard. Hope Wilson still gets a shot!
