Hi Eds, a bigger picture question. I recently heard Daniel Levy saying transfer spending is unstainable. I once read Karl Marx and his thoughts on Capitalism consuming itself. With transfer fees and wages being so out of sync with the austerity in normal society I wonder if football is actually a 'house of cards' that can/ might implode on itself. It seems to me thst it won't take too much for it to collapse. Thanks.

{Ed002's Note - I don't think Mr Levy is a Marxist but clearly the European sides will look to exploit the English monies- and as you say you cannot sustain this - so make hay whilst the sun shines.}

Why do people care so much about football.

Yet movies, music, every other sport, computers all of the big business is no thing to worry about but football's a house of cards lol.

Whilst there is all the fans there are, and people are running in to watch the games, the club's can charge what they want to people who want to show the matches because of the size of the audience.

Are we all of sudden going to stop going the match? Cancel are sports packages? Stop spending money on kits? Stop following on Instagram? Nope so why should the money stop.

Football's big business. Just enjoy it.

Ye billy but they're not switching off. The demand is still there so the money men will find a way. I am sure there will be a limit somewhere and invariably like it is with society, things will change when the impact is felt with the elite clubs.

Twinkle toes, I'm pretty sure you won't have it for much longer due to the recent court case.
