Are they REALLY that talented?
They are better XI than Iceland but they are nothing like Spain, Germany, Belgium etc.
English players benefit from the best players playing with them in the premier league. They make English players look better than they are IMO.

But, if you insist they are that talented, it obviously reinforces the fact that Teamspirit, Motivation, organisation and Tactics, Discipline and hard work beats "talented individuals" every time.

I agree Ron, in terms of English players we have declined drastically. You look at the euro 2004 team and think how the hell we didn't achieve anything. Managers have always been a problem for us as well. Now, apparently Gareth bloody Southgate is the favourite for the England job. This just sums up the FA.
