Im starting to think chelsea actually cheated us with the sturridge deal!

Are you high? Sturridge has scored so many goals for us regardless of how many games he has been injured. He's been well worth the investment.

people will disagree with me on this and put this the other week but a striker needs to be bought. I really like Sturridge and on his day he can be lethal but its just waiting for that day to happen these days. This is ridiculous now and i know he can't help it as such but the club have to think of possibly moving on from Sturridge.

Official then Sturridge out again. What an unlucky player.
Our best striker without a doubt, what a shame.
Seems we are going to have no forwards if they keep getting injured.
Could end up costing us top four. Though i hope not.

Firmino ain't no striker. Studge is a lame horse i'm afraid. He plays how long on sunday an now he's out till after xmas! Sorry but time to put him out to pastures new like fleetwood or everton.

So a single good season is worth the investment? . not denying his ability. no one ever can. but it seems he can't last a few games without injury anymore. which is very frustrating and any title seeking team can't build a winning team on a player like that.

You say whos better than sturridge well not many strikers are better than sturridge WHEN HE PLAYS. Firmino is not a striker, origi has only had one good game, ings will be back next season so ye buying another striker doesn't sound that stupid now does it. Top 4 is our aim remember that. If benteke gets layed off for a while you will be screaming we need another striker.

That was in large part due to one stellar season 18 months ago now TJ and none of our strikers have been around for more than this half season.

In fact one can argue his injuries were at least partly to blame for BR losing his job - we would have definitely scored a lot more if he'd been leading the line as was planned (although we should probably thank him for that as it would have just disguised the flaws IMO) .

Last thing we need now is for Klopp to stumble because of him. He needs a reliable first team that's available for the majority of the season and that fits with his style of play. Sturridge can't be that anymore and Benteke is still a question mark as to style of play.

This is the last straw for me. perhaps we are better off selling both in the summer if Benteke can't prove himself able to adapt before then, and we can start next season with someone else to lead the line (eg a Lacazette/Benzema/Reus type player + Ings + Origi + Firmino)

Yeah right right, chekski cheated liverpool for 12mil so that we can score 25 goals with DS in 13/14 season?
