Like others have said, that was disappointing. But I am not too glum as I know we can compete and will have bad games from time to time, but some players are improving with Klopp and Skrtle was unfortunate.
What this has shown is Milner should be sub not starter, when we have a full squad. Ibe needs to release the pass more but is young and playing very well otherwise. Allen did really well and stood out in midfield. Lucas was off today as was Moreno but we know they are good most games.
Chin up lads, Klopp has only got started and the futures bright, the futures red.

I thought Allen was poor, he looks like a 14 year old playing in a man's game.

This is the thing now, we can think of this as a blip rather than the norm, we know we're heading in the right direction. At least most of teams above also had a less than perfect weekend.

Robbush, maybe Lucas and Milner made him look better! Ha ha.

lucas was the worst player on the pitch today. his distribution was very poor i counted at least 4 passes with no one near him that he just kicked out of play. but allen and lucas will never work. ibe needs to work on his end product and stop slowing the game down so much.

Milner was definately the worst today, in fact I can't honestly remember a decent game from him yet.

Grino, you must b joking. Did you watch Milner at all? After ten mins, I said to myself, we are playing with ten men. The guy did nothing and has done almost nothing since he's been here. He was never needed and many of us mentioned it then. If all players are fit, Lucas will still play because granted he was poor (what player had a good game, really), he's our DM and he's had great games before this one. As for Milner? Can and Hendo in C M, and Lallana and Ibe on the flanks should get picked ahead of him. Experience. Please, he's experienced at being a winner as a backup and nothing more.
