Difficult times in many ways for our manager.

Performances aside, there appears to be a number of issues.

Two players are holding out on contracts and probably will end up moving. The teams above us would love two English internationals tobadgere to regulations.

The Italian continues to be a problem, but unfortunately enough isn't one on the pitch.

He's lost his true fundamental core of scousers now as I get the impression Gerrard has resigned himself to an early retirement, with much of it not being at his control.

All this aside, the players (with many being young and inexperienced) see things happening. They see their Captain leaving only to be replaced with a Captain who isn't prepared to sign yet, or who the club don't believe is worth his wage. They see a disruptive Italian picking-up great wages and playing sick every week. They see the uproar with the Sterling contract. They see squabbling with the manager and fans and supporters alike, while feeling the pressure of an underperformed team.

Big big test, and only the manager will truly understand who's to blame.

Hope you pull through Brendan, but by the look of things you may be losing the dressing room

IMO Sterling is waiting till the summer to see what FSG's plan is and I reckon Henderson too. Both these players without a doubt will have other offers on the table. What guarantees do they have next season with Rodgers in charge?

Our manager has just said that top 4 is over and now also come out and said without CL we are going to struggle in the transfer market? Is the guy delusional? Even with CL football on offer at the start of the season we still could not attract proven quality players? Then we screw things up too when we have a chance of signing Remy but then instead go for Balotelli? Our loss is Chelsea's gain. It is sickening.

We need someone at the top with pedigree and experience otherwise we will be going through season after season of transition. It is as simple as that.

Poor Brendan ay? Let's all feel sorry for him. He's more to blame than anyone else for us not qualifying for the Champions League this season. He's been an utter embarrassment this season in more ways than one.

These players didn't Get us into the Champions League. The previous lot did and we sold our best player and bought a load of tosh.
