edds if you don't mind could you do a list of realistic manager options and maybe ones you think should get a shot. if you don't think this is relevant no bother cheers

I have explained over and over that the owners want the best for the club and have had various people look at the club from top-to-bottom - and that has included discussions about the coaching staff. I don't want to speculate about who might be of interest if Rodgers were to leave as it simply draws abuse from those fans who are seemingly satisfied with repeated mediocrity and his failure to achieve the commitments for this season. You can be assured that he will have a battle to keep his job though.}

Ed will he be fully aware he has a battle to keep his job or might he think fifth place will be enough? Surely if it's that clear cut the club will already have replacements lined up or in mind.

{Ed002's Note - He will be well aware of the situation and has already spoken of his fear that he was to lose his job early in the season. I am not sure what you mean by "clear cut" - I don't think anything is settled right now.}

Here you go Mike - found this from a little while ago from Ed. Things may have changed since.

{Ed002's Note - There will be all sorts of realistic targets and the club are sensibly taking the time to plan the way forward. In the longer term, if Brendan Rodgers were ever to leave you might want to consider:
(a) De Boer - a favourite of Ed001 who he dreams of)

(b) Rafa Benitez (mentioned to me by a prominent sports lawyer on the way the some meetings in Monaco with me last Monday)

(c) Laudrup (preferred as part of a team by someone close to the situation). There will be plenty of other options.}
