The rumours regarding Rodgers flying to Italy on scouting. Are we interested in someone from Parma? They were interested in Balotelli a couple of weeks ago so maybe cash and a player in return for Mario? Lodi perhaps, for an Alonso type role?

Well he's either gone to Italy or he hasn't. If he's gone the only senior game tonight is Parma-Chievo and there was plenty of speculation a couple of weeks ago, including from the Parma chairman that they wanted Mario and we all know he'll be gone come the end of the season. We have a pressing need for a player of Lodi's style as a squad player - especially of Allen is moved on as well. There's naff all else we need from either of those teams.

If the owners r in liverpool this week and they r not in the country much why would the manager not be having meetings with them on issues that need discussed face to face r maybe I'm reading too much into it and they allready had such meetings.
