Hi ed2 just out of Premier league performances alone, which I have seen to be excellent, do you think if salah goes we could approach villa for diaby? Or have you heard of any interest? . I presume it would take a huge offer anyway at this point.

I think it's not doable for him to break the record. He would need to score around 45 goals in each of the next three seasons.
Either the club cash in on him before that or he runs out of steam and doesn't quite score the goals.

WDW I think 4 more years after this season if he can keep going and he is like Peter Pan and if anything he looks better than ever this season.
Will he do it am not sure but I bet anything Mo believes he can.

I don’t agree grino that Salah is better than ever. He certainly not as explosive as he used to be and gets dispossessed much more than he ever has.

That being said he has adapted his game and is becoming more of an assist machine rather than a consistent goal threat.

He will always score goals but he used to be able to score them on his own, these days he’s much more reliant on his team mates to create the chances for him.

His numbers are still amazing and I hope he stays around for another couple of years at least.

Really don’t know what Salah people are watching. Completely lost the ability to beat a man and his first touch and finishing are leaving a lot to be desired. Definitely on a downwards trajectory and I would be selling in the summer to get some funds to replace him. If Darwin could consistently finish we should be building our attack around him now.

But Darwin can’t consistently finish, and Salah is contributing enormously in terms of goals and assists, baffles me that anyone would want Salah to go.

Last few performances haven't been good from Salah. He is giving away the ball a bit too much right now. I just hope this is fatigue and not the start of a decline. I am also concerned by Diaz a bit. He is definitely not as explosive as he was before the injury, when he used to beat his man for fun. I really loved watching him glide past players, but now he gets dispossessed much more often while dribbling. I just hope his sharpness returns eventually as he trust his knee more and more.

Our new forward line is a far cry from peak Bobby, Mo, Sadio.
The parts look special sometimes, but as a unit and in regard of consistency, not even 1/ 3 of what we had.
